In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

It was not fitting for the people of Medina and the Bedouin Arabs of the neighbourhood, to refuse to follow Allah.s Messenger, nor to prefer their own lives to his: because nothing could they suffer or do, but was reckoned to their credit as a deed of righteousness,- whether they suffered thirst, or fatigue, or hunger, in the cause of Allah, or trod paths to raise the ire of the Unbelievers, or received any injury whatever from an enemy: for Allah suffereth not the reward to be lost of those who do good;- (Surah At-Tawba, 120)

"Nor to suffer from thirst, nor from the sun's heat." (Surah Ta Ha, 119)

But the Unbelievers,- their deeds are like a mirage in sandy deserts, which the man parched with thirst mistakes for water; until when he comes up to it, he finds it to be nothing: But he finds Allah (ever) with him, and Allah will pay him his account: and Allah is swift in taking account. (Surah An-Nur, 39)

"Then will ye truly,- O ye that go wrong, and treat (Truth) as Falsehood!- (Surah Al-Waqi‘a, 51)

"Ye will surely taste of the Tree of Zaqqum. (Surah Al-Waqi‘a, 52)

"Then will ye fill your insides therewith, (Surah Al-Waqi‘a, 53)

"And drink Boiling Water on top of it: (Surah Al-Waqi‘a, 54)

"Indeed ye shall drink like diseased camels raging with thirst!" (Surah Al-Waqi‘a, 55)
